Disclosure
It's not everyday that E.D.M.-heads & hipsters both come across the aisle and agree on the same band... but as fates would have it- when Disclosure released their debut album Settle in 2013 that's exactly what happened. Disclosure is the electronic-based project of brother Guy & Howard Lawrence. This band has been consistently great with their quick rise to fame: from opening up for bands at half filled clubs & theaters to headlining festivals. It's amazing what a little buzz will do for a band. Rarely is the buzz as rightfully deserves as it is with our homies from south-east England. I mean hell, the song "Latch" alone would have made any band famous, no matter the genre or timing. It's a timeless classic as is all of Settle. 2015 gave us the sophomore-slump but still enjoyable Caracal. 2016 gave us the Moog for Love E.P., which was basically a love-letter for the timeless and hugely-influential Moog synthesizer. There have been some singles since then but the brothers just released this year's [2020's] Ecstasy E.P. I respect Disclosure because when they peform they're not just behind a laptop looking like expert knob twisters. There is actual live instrumentation. Check out a live video here. So let's give up for Guy & Howard Lawrence.
